ANDREW PLEAVIN

Born in the UK but lived in Transvaal, South Africa for most of my youth. A Father and a Husband with a really cool, creative day job. An actor, sometimes a writer and, every now and then, I pretend to be a digital artist.

Co-created 'WildMen' and my beautiful children, Storm, Jed and Jessica.

 

Started Martial Arts training at the age of 12 but only flourished years later at the Hung Gar Kung Fu Club in Seel St Liverpool, where I studied under the world renowned Hung Gar Kung Fu Master, Sifu Jimmy Chan... eventually got tired of being punched in the face. Still do a bit of chop socky here and there but mostly just for maintainence and self control.

 

Performed in several plays in and around Liverpool before moving to London to train at Drama Centre London under Christopher Fettes and Yat Malmgren in 1993. Started my professional acting career on graduating, in 1996.
