'PERSPECTIVE'
Based on the works of James Allen and other 20th Century pioneers of the New Thought movement. The battle for Self Control. Man is literally what he thinks. He will be what he WILLS himself to be. Thought creates reality. Pure thoughts to ascend. Negative, dark thoughts to descend.
The deeper one descends, the more one forgets that we are all one consciousness. Always choose the higher, purer thought for relief, or to return. The highest, purest thought being LOVE.
Peace, be still.

'PURITY'
Purity of thought. Self control requires mindfulness, which requires discipline and a few 'mental push ups'
When the mind has become more tranquil, through meditation perhaps, or increased self awareness, purer thoughts can be chosen, consciously.
The alternative being seduced and carried away by every thought that drops into your head. Purify your language, purify your intentions, purify your present.
Peace, be still.
